Year 10 Trial School Certificate

Year 10 are to be congratulated on their attitude, effort and behaviour in this term's Trial School Certificate English exam.

All students completed the exam to the best of their ability and should look forward to achieving pleasing results.

Students should be reminded as part of their study routine to go online to the Board of Studies website and complete as many past exam papers as possible.

7P We are participating in the Bagasaurus Explorus - 2010 Autumn Water Bug Survey 31st March - Our survey shown that the Creek behind the school is in poor condition with high pollution index. Thanks to our work, the Council is analysing how to improve the environment.

Science Competitions

Science competition - ICAS: 9th June 2010


Science Club

The Science Club started again this term!
Fill up the membership form and pay the membership fee ($5) at the front office and participate.

The Science Club meets every Monday lunch in Lab 5. We develop experiments, research and investigations to participate in Science competitions.

Current projects:

Bacteria growth in the blue tongue lizard's mouth.
Lego Robotics.
The Physics behind the Roller Coaster.
Auto-robots.


Science In The City - 2009

Students from years 7-10 represented our school at a science expo and workshop in Newcastle on the 15th of September.

They attended an informative and entertaining presentation by JJJ's Dr Karl, learned about how science is changing the art of film making, and took the challenge to program robots to bowl over ten pins.
