Entry to Year 8 2011 selective class
Thank you for your interest in our Year 8 selective class for 2011.
In the links below you will find the application form required to be at school by the 29th July 2010.
After the form is received at school your child needs to sit an entry test. This test wil be held the 21st August 2010 at the school library.
At the day of the test a portfolio folder with the following information have to be handed in:
- Three work samples from Year 7 core subject areas (English, Mathematics, HSIE and Science)
- 2010 Naplan results
- A copy of the recent school report
- And, optionally, copies of Science, Mathematics or English competitions results
Our selective entry commitee will consider your application adn you will be advised of the outcome by the end of September.

Programs for gifted students at the University of New South Wales - GERRIC
GERRIC is the Gifted Education Research, Resource and Information Centre for gifted and talented education. Every year the Centre offers programs, workshops and seminars to parents, teachers and students.
In 2010, new two day courses and workshops for students from 4 to 16 years old are offered.

If you love science and want to have a look how real science is in CSIRO, we can organise work experience with them in the field of your interest.

Forensics Workshops - CSI Sydney 2010
High school students have the opportunity to learn about Forensic Science at the University of New South Wales.
The program runs during the Autumm and Winter Holidays. It is open to all students of 15 years and over.
The cost for two workshops is $300 per student.
